Saving or repairing a natural tooth is always our preferred option. The most common method to achieve this is root canal treatment, known as endodontics. The procedure involves removing damaged or dead pulp in the tooth root and filling the space with a sealer paste and a rubber compound. The tooth can then be rebuilt, usually with a crown, to ensure it remains part of your dentition for a long time.
